For the past few weeks, the only laughs NBC seems to be getting are those of the Late Night scandal. You all know the story but quite frankly, I'm sick of it. Despite grief the network is currently receiving, I feel it has some of the best comedy of this decade, so far. Shows like Community, Parks and Recreation, The Office, and of course 30 Rock. And even SNL has been exceptional this season. But my personal favorite is Community, maybe because I can relate, but mostly because its hilarious.
Every week, seven comical characters gather as a study group at a community college, which usually evolves into more of a support group for one of them. And if happy endings are your thing, this show will not let you down. A positive moral lesson, and a happy ever after is always refreshing. The show is cast well, and written even better, with perfect dynamics between each character. At the ripe old age of 66, Chevy Chase is fun to watch as the 'old dude with old fashioned ways and new fashioned technology who attends college to combat boredom,' because, well, he's old.
"Culturally its unacceptable, but its theatrical dynamite!" - Pierce (Chevy Chase)
Last night's episode was dominated by one of my favorite characters, Troy, played by an interesting actor by the name Donald Glover. I just so happened to catch him do a guest spot on Last Call, while I was getting my yearly dose Carson Daly. His stand up routines are great; I especially liked the bit about his twitter name being @DonGlover which obviously looks like @DongLover. Check out his blog iamdonald.com and also check out Community, Thursdays at 8pm!

If you have seen or regularly follow Community, let us hear what you think below. If not, here's a great episode with a cameo from Jack Black and a secret guest appearance towards the end.
