Last Night: IAS Jason Bateman // Rachel Zoe Project
Inside the Actor's Studio: Jason Bateman
It's been a while since I've sat down to watch a premiere episode of IAS. I'm rarely home by 7p, so it's not an easy one to catch live. Luckily, I've got my new 3 series HD TiVo box up and running, so I've got more hours to fill, and better quality to watch with at that.
I just got into Arrested Development only about a month ago. In between cable services, post-move, I finally started watching the DVD set I'd borrowed from a co-worker over a year ago. (Sorry Michelle. I'll return those soon.) If you haven't seen Arrested Development, go find it right now. Start from the beginning. They will grow on you. Amazing, amazing writing. Hilarious and awkward in a (really great meaning of) weird sort of way.
Inside the actor's studio we go with Jason Bateman. Very good TV. Very interesting. (Making me a liar already by saying I love terrible television.) I wonder why Jason Bateman hasn't been in any really great movies. He seems to take his roles very seriously, and through his answers to Lipton's questions he had me feeling he was a pretty talented and all around good guy. I guess I have to admit that my favorite moment was when he introduced his wife as his best friend. Obviously scored points with this girl.
Next week we've got the cast of Family Guy. Exciting, yet kind of like seeing the person inside Mickey Mouse's costume, yea?
The Rachel Zoe Project
A (not so) guilty pleasure by definition. Love. Love. Love.
As for this week's episode, Liv Tyler's styling session made me uber jealous. I want a stylist!

This week: VH1's Best Week Ever
I am catching up on my TiVo... Friday's Best Week Ever was great!
1. They included The Rachel Zoe Project in their "shows to watch this fall" segment.
2. The footage from Good Morning America last week is classic. They interviewed Sarah Palin's friends from aerobics class. Ah. Find it please and watch it.
3. Gossip Girl WAS ridiculous(ly sexy) with those strawberries last week!
